Corporate Social Responsibility
Lets face it. We wouldn't be in this business if we didn't make money at it. We are good at what we do so we live well. In this World we are beset with problems where so many have so little and our environment is struggling to cope.
Where we have been so fortunate it is only right that we should be willing to give something back to worthwhile charities to help others who often just need a helping hand to improve their lives beyond measure.
Since our formation Brander Recruitment, its staff and its contractors have donated many thousands of pounds to a wide variety of international, as well as local, humanitarian and environmental projects. In 2010-2011 we have decided to focus our efforts primarily upon supporting one preferred charity.
This is Malaika Africa.
Malaika Africa are raising funds to build a primary school for several hundred orphaned street children in Mirerani, Tanzania. In addition they are improving the water supply to the local community so they can actually drink it safely. In the next phase they intend to build medical facilities for the community as well so they don't have to travel for 2 days by bike to get help. All these initiatives will transform the lives of many people and put less pressure on all the supporting community systems. This in turn will put less pressure on the Environment.
